The thermal waters at Grotta Giusti belong to the bicarbonate-sulphate-chloride-calcium-magnesium class and rise to the surface at a temperature of 34°C. The pearl of this Resort is the age-old cave which is divided into three sections: Paradise, Purgatory – with its Lake of Limbo and Hell; the average temperature is 34°C and humidity reaches 98%. Guests enjoy a detoxifying and relaxing thermal steam bath. The natural grotto offers also the unique experience of scuba diving in the thermal underground lake.
“The eight wonder of the world”, as described by Giuseppe Verdi during his frequent visits, never ceases to amaze you. The thermal therapeutic pool is one of the largest open door thermal pools in Italy with its waterfall, 750 sqm and 40 underwater hydro-jets.
The thermal water of Grotta Giusti natural spring has therapeutic properties and benefits for the musculoskeletal system (regulate muscle tone, anti-inflammatory, analgesic), the cutaneous system (astringent, anti-inflammation, anti-bacterial, cleanser, toner), the cardio-vascular system (vasodilatation, hypotensive) and the nervous system (relaxing).
