The former Giaccherino Convent complex is one of the most beautiful and characteristic in the Pistoia area and it has now been made even more attractive by the stylish renovation work which the owners have carried out in full respect for its historic, cultural, artistic and architectural importance.

This monastic complex was built in the fifteenth century and later hosted a number of religious orders. The original nucleus of the building was the area of the two cloisters, the church, its bell tower and two small dormitories.
The fresco cycle in the main cloister tells the story of St Francis of Assisi and, together with the Last Supper in the refectory, is the work of Pistoia painter Alessio Gimignani while the frescoes in the smaller cloister depict the life of St Anthony of Padua and are by Luigi Cappellini, Giovanni Mannozzi and Giovanni Domenico Ferruzzi.

The building is now fully usable for ceremonies, weddings, gala dinners and private events of any type. A range of work designed to recover its overall functions and allowing for its maintenance and conservation has enabled a number of cultural and artistic initiatives to be developed. There are a number of events rooms of varying sizes for functions of any type and to suit any requirement and budget including open spaces such as the garden, the cloisters and the terrace which are ideal for pre-dinner drinks and buffets.

Our organisation is equipped with a kitchen which serves traditional Tuscan menus based on carefully selected, top quality ingredients and also supplies all other event services such as waiting staff, installations, mise en place, etc. Clients with their own catering are welcome and will be given whatever support they require in order to make any event truly unique in the most important and beautiful location in Pistoia province.
